Basically what he does is stopping random people and depicts them in his own unique way on walls of the buildings. He draws his pictures on walls of buildings that are in poor condition around Paris, on walls of building Near East, on broken bridges in Africa and on old building in Brazil. His models are mainly people that live poorly so there are actually people who saw and worked with JR.
Basically we do not even know what those initials mean. He was granted TED Prize of year 2011. Prize was given for “unusual faces” that changed the world. Genie TED get only those people who live only for the sake of changing world. They also get 100 000$ dollars. JR posesses the greatest gallery in the world and his pictures are not in some museum but on the streets where everyone can see it!
